From June 16 through 21, 2018, Wacker Neuson showed how far construction equipment has already advanced today and also gave visitors a glimpse of what to expect in the future. Over the course of the week, customers, dealers and experts from across the EMEA region visited the Austrian production site in Hörsching, near Linz, to find out more about the latest zero emission machines, to test products and digital solutions and to engage in interesting discussions.
With the conventional excavator ET35 and the zero tail excavator EZ36 Wacker Neuson is presenting two new models in the 3.5 ton class. Time-tested and proven features of larger models were consistently developed further here. A completely new design and interior as well as additional outfitting options provide for a productive and fatigue-free working environment.
New standards in terms of operator and construction site safety, flexibility and cost effectiveness are set by the dual view concept for the Wacker Neuson wheel dumper from six to ten tons of payload. Dual view allows the operator to conveniently and quickly change the seat position through a 180-degree rotation of the entire operating and seat console. This always gives the operator a perfect view in the direction of travel – during transport, loading and dumping.
Wacker Neuson will be presenting its first fully electric, battery-powered mini excavator at this year’s Intermat from April 24 through 28, 2018. The EZ17e performs and handles like a diesel-powered model. Wacker Neuson’s range of zero emissions solutions are extremely ergonomic and environmentally friendly – without compromising on machine performance.
Wacker Neuson positioned itself as a leader in the area of emission-free compaction technology already in 2015, with the introduction of the first battery-powered rammer models. In 2018, the company is expanding the solutions of its zero emissions series to include the single-direction battery-powered vibratory plate AP1850e.
Wacker Neuson has announced real highlight before the exhibition even opens its doors, revealing that it will be showcasing its fully electric, battery-powered EZ17e mini excavator at the event. The machine delivers the same power and performance as gasoline-powered models and is a new addition to the Group’s long-established zero emissions product line.
With the Vertical Digging System (VDS), uneven terrain conditions can be easily leveled.
Added productivity and operating comfort, especially when working on slopes, are major benefits of the Vertical Digging System, which has already been time-tested and proven for decades and is used and loved by customers world-wide.
The running time of the AS50e and AS30e battery-powered rammers from Wacker Neuson has increased by 50 percent, thanks to the state-of-the-art battery cells used. However, nothing has changed in the practical application of the rammer: customers can switch to the new battery at any time and work with their existing AS30e and AS50e rammers as usual.
Wacker Neuson is known for its unique production design. Now the internal vibrators of the IEC series from Wacker Neuson have been awarded the renowned iF Design Award. The internal vibrators with integrated converters combine efficiency output, sturdiness and user friendliness with a particularly good price-performance ratio.
